3rd Annual Mardi Gras Party
Fundraiser for Restore Arts 501c3

Come celebrate Mardi Gras with us, food, fun, entertainment, dancing to music of a live band.

This event is a fundraiser for Restore Arts a 501c3 providing music and arts lessons, instruments, transportation to and from events to children across the Phoenix Valley and the state of Arizona.

Currently Arizona only spends $1 per child per year on the arts. Arizona, like many other states has cut back funding for the arts so far that we are seriously in danger of loosing a generation of artists. Restore Arts is doing their part to keep the Arts alive.

Winston Churchill, when asked to redirect the money spent in the arts during the war and spend it on the war, his response was- “If we don’t fund the arts, what is the point of funding the war?”

“ Children who participate in the arts in school are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement than those who don’t. They have better attendance, lower dropout rates, higher confidence and stronger writing skills. At-risk and special-needs students see stratospheric increases in achievement when their creativity is stimulated.”
